After using Kscan, I was not able to use the other 3D scanning softwares, A little investigation showed that Kscan will install its own version of the drivers for the Kinect, which is not compatible with the other 3D scanning softwares, so we need to unistall these drivers and have the orginal kinect driver installed by reinstalling the Kinect SDK.
